Tim Boyle has more completions on 3rd and short than Zach Wilson this season
Through 10 games, the Jets have the 4th worst 3rd down conversation rate of the past 30 years (via PFR)
https://stathead.com/tiny/ryaMX
• 2009 Chiefs - 22.4% through 10 games (32/143) • 2008 Raiders - 22.1% through 10 games (30/136) • 1999 Browns - 22.0% through 10 games (27/123)
Could be anyone
Should be a picture of Christian Hackenberg
Mike White would be hurt already.
I’m very lucky this year, I have a deep team, but I have both Kyren Williams and Khalil Herbert coming off of IR. I need to make room for both players
12 Team League:
.5/ catch 1QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1 flex
Who do I drop:
Team:
QB: Josh Allen, Kyler Murray
RB: Etienne, Gus Edwards, Foreman, Charbonnet, Kyren Williams (IR), Khalil Herbert (IR)
WR: Hill, Addison, Cooper, Godwin, Davis, Nico Brown
TE: Kincaid
D: Browns
K: Meyers
Note: Allen, Edwards, Foreman, Herbert, Addison, Davis, and Kincaid are all on a bye next week
Favorite fun stat of the day:
Zach Wilson will likely become only the 2nd QB since 1980 to have 3 consecutive seasons of 8 starts or more (half the season) and throw less than 10 TDs in each of those seasons (Rodney Peete, 1991-1993)
Can we now, finally, acknowledge that the Jets are closer to a 1-9 team than 5-5.
The Jets were bailed out of three separate games by incredibly stupid decisions late in the game by QBs or opponent coaching.
This team, as constructed, is closer to the worst team in the NFL than an average team.
My new favorite stat of the week. The Jets have had 15 drives this year with a lead (last in the NFL). They have scored 0 TDs on those drives.
As a whole, the Jets have 12 points when taking a lead this season.
The defense is going to be too agressive going for turnovers because they know the offense will not be able to make plays on their own.
Honestly, this game was the natural outcome of trying to make something happen because you can’t rely on the offense.
OP was saying the game in Miami , so it’ll be a Miami home game for sure
I think he was really undisciplined as a linebacker, an issue he had when he joined the Jets too, but he managed to fix his problems. Sometimes players need the right staff.
Zach Wilson has been the primary QB for 30 of the Jets 43 games since the start of 2021 season.
Jets have had 20+ first downs (league average) in a total of 12 games, Zach has been QB in 4 of those games.
Daily Zach Wilson stat:
Since 2021 the Jets have had only 6 games where they broke 50% on 3rd down conversion.
1 of those 6 games was when Zach Wilson was the primary QB. Despite being primary QB in 30/43 games since start of his career.
Jake Browning, another QB with as many TD passes as Zach Wilson since week 6
Jets are way worse than 4-5, I’d argue they should be 1-8, but at best they should be 2-7.
Any Offensive player, “Maybe you guys can…” Defense “ Stop sucking at football”
He’s Michael Carter I now
The jets are a 2-7 team masquerading as a 4-5 team.
The red zone information is wrong. Also, super misleading without context
Jets have the 4th lowest pass plays in the red zone. But they also have the 4th lowest total plays in the red zone, so that would be expected.
In the red zone the Jets call pass plays on about 55% of plays, that ranks 12 in the NFL, or slightly above average.
Jets do rank last on passes from 20-50, but again they rank last in plays from the 20-50 too. I see them as having 80 passes / 66 runs (about 55% passing) from 20-50
I’m on my phone, so I don’t have a good way to East compare, but that looks to be a little below average compared to rest of NFL
23 is too small to draw a conclusion, but in general there should be 2x as many injuries at Met Life, right?
