1.Colt McCoy 37- nobody on this list deserves a Browns Super bowl appearance more

  1. Joe Flacco 38- nobody on this list knows and hates the AFC NORTH more

  2. Nick Foles 34- Bro took Philly to the title under similar circumstances

  3. Matt Ryan 38- Only former MVP under 40 on this list

5 .Cam Newton 34 Youthful by the standards of this list

6 .Tom Brady 46- twitter says Browns have already reached out

7 .Drew Brees 44- facilitates seamless transition to qb coach?

  1. Philip Rivers 41 5-7 record in the playoffs- still 4 more wins then CLE has in the last 24 years

In addition, the following qbs could be pried from their team via quasi-legal tampering or practice squad signing:

1.Ryan Tannehill 35- Our best hope. Hopefully Moneyball analytics respects his game

  1. Jimmy Garappolo 32- two year 8 figure contract and his current team isn’t eliminated yet. Unlikely.

  2. Kellen Mond 24- the most likely signing(and also the most useless)

I don’t see anything happening before Sunday, Nick Foles or McCoy, and Ryan are my best options really. If by some miracle some decent spot starter is cut, then we probably take them no sweat. Unfortunately this wasn’t even a possibility in our minds 3 weeks ago when the trade deadline hit. Otherwise we probably trade for a Brissett or Garoppolo.

Let’s give DTR one last shot to prove his worth. That will really help decide who we go get. Foles is the shot in the dark for some old magic (and pray he’s got some 2017 magic still in the tank somewhere), McCoy is the safe option (to be QB 2 or 3), and Ryan is the theoretically best option (to hope that 2022 was just a bad year for him and he’s got more left in him than we thought).

Colt McCoy is washed - and it’s not like he had good physical variables to start with.

We don’t have a qb coach and Watson is only 28- there isn’t a lot of wisdom and experience in our qb room

How did Brian Hoyer not make the list? He’s one behind Garoppolo on the Raiders depth chart, and unlike most others listed here he’s actually played football this season. [Note: I didn’t say he played well].

BDN is my choice, but I think Tanneholl and Garrapolo are interesting if that could happen.

We need a a good game manager though.

I know it won’t happen. But if Brady came to the browns and played 10 games and got a Super Bowl he would get a statue.

Think of it this way. A competent QB who’s stuck on a bad team who wants to go on a potential run? Hell yeah I wanna sign with Cleveland right now. I think we have more options than we think. Someone could demand to be released examples, Mac Jones (not a good option but an option none the less), Kyle Trask might want out to try and make some noise, the aforementioned, Tannehill, Garoppolo, or maybe someone who wants back in Cleveland ie Mayfield?!? Crazy I know but think about it. The perfect storm as of now, Tampa Bay doesn’t sound like they wanna bring him back. Cleveland needs a hero, Mayfield loves to do that shit. He gets benched for Kyle Trask and he might demand to be released.
