Caruso is good as long as we don’t lose too much. He’s a great defender and a better l handler off the bench than Reaves (who should still be kept).

I don’t want Zach anywhere near this team. His contract is horrendous and his defence even more so.

We need Caruso and we need a center who will give a fuck on a nightly basis, cause AD doesn’t seem to give a shit half the time.

I’m not advocating for Lavine. But if we have AD + Bron, we have to choose a path - all in or rebuild. No point in preserving the future. It’s a dangerous path (look at the clippers), but it’s true. We’re a tier below the best teams. What’s the best available deal that raises our CEILING? Laker fans saying this team (even when healthy) can compete against the best teams is straight delusional.

Anyone saying Caruso is the answer. Think for one second. Just one second. Caruso will at a minimum, cost us one first round pick. Do you really think Caruso is worth giving up our only tradeable first round pick this year? Is he that much of an upgrade over Prince, Cam, Vando where we are giving up one of our most valuable trade assets. Does he put us in the same tier as Denver? The answer seems like a NO.

Lavine is on a bad, massive contract for the next few years who’s already on a decline. He’s shooting worst percentages than both our guards and not a great defender either.
