Lonnie had another great game tonight for Brooklyn, scored 23 points off the bench. Even though it’s a small sample size so far, he’s averaged 15.0 PPG on 21.2 MIN. Shooting splits are 50.9% from 2 and 46.0% from 3. Hopefully he can keep it up, those aren’t bad numbers for a guy that shouldn’t even be in the league or in a G-League team.

I’m genuinely happy for Lonnie. I’ve always thought he had all the parts to be a saner JR Smith. Just was lacking consistency. I hope he has a long career. He’s a good dude and deserves it.

Happy for him, would love to see him come back someday. Doesn’t he still live in SA?

He looked awesome against the Celtics. Kinda wish we didn’t dump him as early as he did. Yes, he’s still a bad defender, but our team really needs another slasher with a functioning jump shot.

I love to see it. Ive been a fan since the late 80s. Seeing the NBA filled with players and coaches from the Spurs is a great thing because we know they learned to play the game the right way.
