Your lack of a backups left you without save files? 🤔

steamOS shouldn’t delete anything within the home folder, try to check within yuzu for the save gamed

ight ight so firstly i dont update my steam deck but literally same thing happened to me wit yuzu bro , so open yuzu in desktop mode wherever you installed “emulation” launch it … then go to ur game left click “open save data location” okay … now back 1 on the top address where it saids the destination … find the folder wit the same numbers as ur game. Yuzu backs up a save data of the save data … then u copy/paste that back into the main folder the one that had nothing in it. Worked for smwonder / SOS.
