I have been playing the game before, but it had bad stuttering and performance issues. After the update, it runs smooth like shit. What’s your surprise game? What have you been expecting, what was a downgrade?
Is 3.5 finally on Stable?
Elden Ring, it’s not a perfect 40fps, but it feels much smoother
What emulator are you using for War in the North? I love that game.
Cyberpunk 2077, day and night difference
What are your settings and framerate?
Wait, does LotR: War in the North work? That’s great news, my computer has troubles getting it to work
Valheim for me. I played 240 hours of it solely on Deck so I’m well versed in how trash it used to run. Even after some good updates, I’d still bounce around in the low to mid 20’s in my base which wasn’t even very fancy or large. All of this with most bells and whistles turned off, as well as low settings.
Dude, this morning I set the FPS cap to 30 and turned draw distance and vegetation to high and I am so fucking pleased to report it stays at 28-30 in my same base. It is amazing. Couldn’t be happier.
Not a game, the Steam user interface. Navigating Steam menus just seems more responsive than it was. That i did not expect
Safari seems snappier
F12023 pre update 40fps average graphics F12023 post update 60fps smooth above average graphics
what performance improvements? i got 45ish fps in dirt rally 2.0 before and i get 45ish fps now
For some reason i had the opposite, i dunno why but Overwatch 2 performs worse now 🥲
Armored Core VI is running 60 FPS on high settings now
Starfield is much smoother, steady 30FPS on low, even in outdoor areas
Plenty of threads about this, but Half Life 1 got a big update and is actually an incredible classic if you’ve never played it before (even if you have, definitely worth revisiting on the Deck)
