I really hope Jesus’ scan is clear of any problems. I’d love him to play again this weekend. The more our traditional front 3 plays - the better we’ll look attacking wise. Sheffield at home is the perfect fixture for those 3 to get clicking together.
Saka, Martinelli and Jesus have not played a lot of football together this season - it’s no wonder our attack looks not as fluent as the heights of last season

I remember when people were mad at me when I said that they shouldn’t expect too much from Partey due to his age and injury record.
He’s 30 not 54. Have you not noticed how players are playing much longer than they did 20 years ago thanks to the advancement in sport science? Modric is pushing 38 with Madrid, Fernandinho won his last league at City when he was 35, etc. Also, we all know he’s injury. People were probably mad at the lazy analysis.
None of these players were injury prone in their early 30s

Wouldn’t mind seeing something similar to our Fulham lineup against Sheffield with Trossard leading the line, and one of Havertz/Vieira/ESR in midfield. We created enough chances in the first half that game undermined by sloppy touches and bad finishing.
