Everything can be fixed on a car. But if this was rotten enough to break loose, I’d expect the rest of it to fall apart (literally) soon as well.

Any shop with a welder could weld this back together. But they’d be welding incredibly weak metal together. It’s unlikely any shop would do the work. Unless it was some sort of costly full restoration on a classic.

If you stick a pair of googly eyes above the break, it can be used as a Halloween decoration.

Otherwise, that’s ready to die in a junkyard.

A long shot… Many years ago, my minivan had a recall for this issue. They put a cap over the strut tower and welded it in place. I would agree with everyone else that this ready for the scrap heap, but there might be a part???

If you have enough metal and time, learn to weld. If you have enough money, find the best welder friend you have and ask what they can do. I dont think this is too unrealistic of a repair. Just keep in mind that it’s probably got a lot worse rust in some spots, and it would be a good idea to tackle it all at once. If this is your project car, strip her down and see how bad the rust really is. If it passes the screwdriver test for about 85% of the car, I would say it’s worth saving. Keep a repair log and mark down everything else you find.
