I just bough the regular steam deck at the end of October, and tomorrow is the 14 day deadline since arriving (if I understood correctly) for returning it. What do you guys think? I’m feeling quite bad for having spent a lot of money on this just to have it replaced by a new model right after, but also I’m insecure of how the return thing works. My deck is impeccable, I barely used it, and only at home. But I’m worried about shipping times and refund times (I’m in Toronto btw), I’m flying back home to Brazil early December for a month and would really like to have a Deck to bring with me if possible (yes this is a minor issue, still bothers me tho).

Any suggestions? Someone who has done something similar before could share how it went?

I bought one a few months back but didn’t even open it and returned it as I decided to wait on Steam Deck 2, even if it was a few years. The upgrades to the OLED made me pull the trigger, biggest thing for me was battery and display. I would 100% return and upgrade if you can, I’m sure others would return if they could.

If I could return and get a refund and buy an OLED, I would. I’ve had my Deck for just over a year now so I upgraded my 64gb SSD to a 1tb. That’s how I’m coping.
