I want it, but i just upgraded my 64gb to a 1tb and I’m still very happy with what I have. Plus, Even though I likely wouldn’t buy it at launch, I’m still interested in what Nintendo is going to come up with next so I don’t mind waiting around for a bit.

If I were getting a Deck I’d try my best to get the 512gb OLED. I’ve had the LCD Deck for over a year now and I have no reason to get the OLED but if I had NO Deck, I would go for it.

I just upgraded my internal SSD a few days ago. Super easy. My wife saw how easy it is and at first she was hesitant but now she also ordered her own 1tb SSD. But I’ve also taken apart a few laptops and Switch’s so I was confident… If the Deck broke, oh no I need to buy an OLED one 😅

I upgraded my 64gb Deck to 1tb and i’m sure I’ll be fine since that’s what I had on my desktop and I made it work. I only download stuff I’m likely to play and what I hope to play next.

I think I’d be lucky if i Tried to sell my 64gb that i upgraded to 1tb for $400 CAD. Unfortunate… Ultimately, that’s why i upgraded it yesterday instead of chasing the dream of selling and buying the OLED. I’ll try my best to wait for a Deck 2, not a Deck 1.1

If I could return and get a refund and buy an OLED, I would. I’ve had my Deck for just over a year now so I upgraded my 64gb SSD to a 1tb. That’s how I’m coping.

Neither, the only thing this OLED model made me want was more storage so I ordered a 1tb SSD and my micro SD card will go to the Switch.

I think I got my 64gb Deck in October 2022. I ordered a 1tb SSD today. Been getting by only with the 64GB plus a 200gb micro SD. I’ll be donating that micro SD card to my Switch.

I checked eBay and Kijiji… There are a lot of Decks up for sale now!

The upgrade is that it’s cheaper now

Why I’m not switching: because I already have this one and OLED isn’t enough for me to fork over hundreds. I’ll maybe consider upgrading my 64gb internal SSD soon though…

I’d recommend a Switch Lite.
