I have a 21 m340. I always let it warm up first and get to operating temperature but the car stays in sport plus constantly. Is it gonna cause any excess wear and tear? Still have 1 year of warranty left on it.

The use of your gas pedal and your maintenance history influence wear and tear more than the drive mode. If you’re flooring it in Eco all the time your car will wear out faster than if you drive moderately in Sport Plus.

That engine can take a lot of abuse. You’re almost certainly not pushing it anywhere near its limit on public roads. Keep in mind the engine coolant being up to temp doesn’t mean the oil is, which is important to the turbo as well as the engine. I don’t really push my car hard until I’ve been driving for a good five minutes.
