But all the BEV stand tell me BEVs are more mechanically simple than PHEVS. maybe PHEVs are the solution after all. They give you the greatest gains per kilo of lithium and they have no range anxiety.

Driving through back roads where I live with rolling hills. It’s best during autumn.
Often I’ll be happy pacing the car in front of me with healthy following distance and Mario Andretti will be inches off my bumper. It’s like, look around pal, it’s nice AF out. People come from around the world to experience this shit. Take it in and enjoy your life.
The NPR WNYC greene space studio sounds amazing, especially for any piano music. They do a stereo image of the drums for live recordings. Real top notch shit.
This has been going on since the 70s. There’s a British comedy sketch about it. Someone has probably already linked it in the comments.
F80 is great but it’s not top 2. It may be the best modern one but e30 and e46 are probably the top two.
E46 M3 and $40k worth of tires and track insurance.
I buy a lot of SACDs and it’s mostly to buy audiophile releases. Buy the masters not the format. Pretty much everything by MFSL is good. Buy an album from them you love. For me their nevermind is VERY good and better than the original. The guitar tone is so good. Their pixies albums and Weezer album is very good.
I have six versions of miles davis sketches of Spain. One SACD version which is more or less a straight transfers from the master tapes is the absolute worst version of the album you can buy and another SACD is the best. I also have the version from the 90s that is almost as good.
Mostly thrift store CDs and audiophile releases on SACD.
Honestly I would get large Klipsch speakers like Klipsch horns and continue running my laptop based business but blast music on larger speakers. I would also slowly become shit box jay Leno.
As a miata owner I would rather own a manual premium than an auto turbo. The turbo engine is really a CUV engine that is fun because it’s fast but not really a driver’s engine. Manual Mazdas also hold their value very well. Look at early skyactiv generation manual Mazda 3 2.5 prices. The turbo is a fun torquey daily driver. It’s like a grand touring compact. The manual premium is the drivers car though. Most affordable manual compacts have small turbo engines. The Mazda 3 has a relatively high displacement normally aspirated four. It’s a nice setup that feels a bit like an older NA V6.
Others have had great responses. Just to add, I’m into digital media and I don’t like objectively high fidelity sound. I like tube amps and nearly hundred year old speaker making technology.
I’m glad they don’t use CVTs but I wish they just used the ZF8 on the new RWD platform. It’s proven and dead reliable. They instead made their own transmission which isn’t as good and probably cost a lot to develop.
That engine can take a lot of abuse. You’re almost certainly not pushing it anywhere near its limit on public roads. Keep in mind the engine coolant being up to temp doesn’t mean the oil is, which is important to the turbo as well as the engine. I don’t really push my car hard until I’ve been driving for a good five minutes.
I started this business as a side hustle. I still have a full time job but make a good $50k on the side. I’m Trying to scale it up but am happy being a small timer.
My buddy just bought one because he wanted one of the last V8s. It’s a lot of car for the money and it’s built of a great platform. It’s got a hemi and a ZF8. Hard to beat as a powertrain for a full sized SUV.
In the US it’s mostly medical stuff. Anything insurance will pay for for old people is a good bet.
Customers for my B2B SaaS
The problem with BMW is year after year they asked customers in focus groups what they wanted. The marketing team made the engineers give them the customers what they wanted. And that is bigger heavier more powerful cars. They slowly lost their ability to finese
“Hifi” can either mean high fidelity to the original recording OR in the tradition of 20th century stereo equipment. I have a tube amp and vintage Klipsch heritage speakers. It’s in the style of old fashioned American “Hifi” systems but it’s not actually particularly faithful to the original recording. I will call my system a Hifi as a noun. Often when people use Hifi as an adjective it might mean an objectively accurate flat sound. But it also might mean some sort of audiophile sweetness that is not strictly an accurate reproduction of the audio signal.
People may argue which is the correct way to use the term. I can’t really weigh in. I’m just saying I’ve heard or read it all these ways. If you use the term you have to understand it’s a bit ambiguous.
If it were me I’d keep a clean E46 M3 for life and just get a CPO 330. The E46 is the Goldilocks M3. The new m cars are pigs. Might as well keep the drivers car and have a modern disposable 3 series you don’t mind getting dirty. Keep the E46 until you die but have a daily that does 85% of what you need.
