Wish I could get 93, highest in California is 91. My tuner said CA gas is shit and recommended a gallon of e85 at fill ups.
Data logs look good
I have used that for two changes, no issues. Returned for their warranty in a flat rate box. Last change I used the MolyGen to make sure I had no leaks.
Love my M235i 6MT, perfect size for my life right now.
I either drive in Sport or Sport+. Comfort and EcoPro do not exist in my world, You’ll be just fine.
Saw one recently and had the same thought as you about the front. It is wide open just asking for a rock to bust it open.
My wife doesn’t drive my Bimmer, she could but doesn’t like driving a manual. OP these engines are pretty stout, you’ll be fine.
He should have been taking a picture of your 1M.
Love my M235i, the size is perfect. Nothing base about yours. Enjoy the ride and F the haters.
Forgot about Ace honoring the Craftsman warranty, I have used it at Lowes without issue.
My main mechanics set is 1991 Craftsman made in the USA. I have only ever used the warrant a couple times, cracked a couple sockets. I took those to Lowes and they replaced no questions asked. I broke my 1/2 inch drive about 10 years ago. They actually repaired that one at Sears. I really miss the Sears tool section.
I’ve seen some decent sets from Gearwrench. I say just buy the best you can afford without breaking the bank. I have some Harbor Freight stuff, their quality has improved over the years.
Good luck
Congrats!! As a fellow black Bimmer owner, this is the cleanest it will ever be.
Not saying OP is saying this but people post how bad Bimmers are and then share how well maintained they are like this.
This is how your engine bay should look
Came here to say exactly this
As others have said don’t go to a place like Midas. I wouldn’t trust them to put gas in my lawnmower. I get coupons all the time from the dealer for $100 oil changes. I do 99% of my own maintenance so I haven’t paid for an oil change in at least 25 years.
If you live in a place with multiple dealers shop around or find a Euro Shop, much better than Midas or Jiffy lube.
Love my F22 M235i, the 1 series is very special so it’s a hard choice. N55 has been pretty solid so far. Drive both and see what you like better.
Didn’t know there were age limits on Bimmers. I’m 51 and drive an F22 M235i. I don’t want a bigger car, your salesman sucks.
