Im looking for a new game after coming off strangers of paradise. And i want it to be a huge time sink.

Something with a gear/ability systems preferablly. Jobs/class systen would be cool, also maybe tons of characters to use.

Im sure this is a long shot

    Hello all.
I am in need of some solid PS5 suggestions to help me get through the coming winter months. Some of the games that I’ve played and loved were: Drakes Uncharted, Red Dead series, FarCry series, Dead Space, Resident Evil, Ratchet & Clank, Assassin’s Creed (a bit repetitive), GTA, Fallout. I LOVE RPG and first-person shooter. I never play in coop mode.
    Thanks in advance.

Creeper World 3 felt like that. Beating the game means you got to play with all the features, now you get to have fun in the player-made maps!

Borderlands 3. Once you hit max level you can really start to focus making your build which is the whole point of the gameplay loop and farming. Fun times and a ton of content!

So I’m not necessarily recommending this game, but it does fulfill your requirements.

Sword Art Online Hollow Realization has a 1,000 floor dungeon that only opens up once you beat the game, and rewards the most powerful weapons in the game.

A lot for these games I’m wondering if it’s actually just the same game over again but harder and people are like “THATS THE REAL GAME”.

Whereas Nier Automata is like, play for 12 hours, get to ending A, play through same time frame but from another character’s perspective, then an entirely new section of plot opens up for the last 15 hours.

That’s very different from, say, Hades, where you go through the same areas, enemies and bosses basically but with different challenges to make it harder… And I love Hades.

Borderlands series. You gotta grind through the story before you can get the good stuff to really play the game.

Phantasy Star Online was maybe the first game I played like this and compared to modern games it really lags behind, however it still holds a special place in my heart. Especially PSO v2 with Episode 2, and split screen multiplayer for the xbox and gamecube

Hades might fit this request. First time you get through to the end and the game is like lol, get ready for the actual hard part.
