I really love Siakam and I love when it does work with the high low passing between Siakam, Barnes, and Purtle, but it’s time to change. We have seen the limit of where this team can go, and Raptors need to start loading more picks and young talent who fit Scottie and OG’s timeline
Raptors already lost Kawhi and Fred for nothing, without exchanging talent and just losing talent/salary it is a full net negative to not replace them. Kawhi was known that would happen, but failing to trade Fred was a huge mistake
It’s likely Siakam does re-sign, but that just keeps Raptors in purgatory without a clear direction around the new talent of OG and Barnes
I said the same thing and was called an idiot. Apparently teams haven’t for years traded away their best guys for young talent and picks after things weren’t working. OKC, Orlando, Pacers, Jazz. I guess all those teams are wrong and Masai and MLSE are the geniuses.
