… We could somehow turn Tobi and everything from the Harden trade (or swap some of those pieces with pieces we had) for both OG and Levine?

Would Maxey - Levine - OG - Someone (Roco/Batum/Oubre?)- Embiid + whatever is left of the bench be good enough?

Don’t focus on how it gets done (although I think the total value moved works). Just, if that was the “last big move”, do you think it would get us there?

I think Lavine’s athleticism on offense is a strong factor we’ve been missing from our starting lineups for years, but Tobi is as consistent as it gets and has been good to great on defense for over a year now

Tobias won’t go off for 40 ever, but the consistency he provides while being an ironman is way more important than an extra ‘star’ that we have zero clue how he’ll mesh with Embiid and Maxey. I think building around 3 guys that have played together for years now is a far better path forward

I mean, fair enough… But I think I framed this wrong. I’m more saying “Morey is probably going to make a big trade for a guy who’s more of a star than Tobi, which will probably either send Tobi out or bring back bad Tobi by making him option 4. So would getting these two guys be enough in your opinion, if he could manage it?”
