We played a much better team and thanks to some really good breaks and sound defense, we were in the game till the end. That’s an improvement.
Fields played OK, 169 yards passing isn’t going to win a lot of games against a very good team. My sole conclusion from that game is that the jury is still out on JF1. When that dude starts throwing for 250 yards a game 2 out of 3 games, I’ll buy in.
It seems like we throw a 3 yard pass, or a 45 yard bomb. Nothing in the middle.

The defense played well in regards to getting turnovers, but they really had a hard time stopping the Lions offense, otherwise.
The offense was also spotty. They’d get stuffed, then also have 10-15 yard rushes. Passing game was eh. Fields did a good job scrambling. He cannot fumble the ball at the end of the game, though. That’s really not acceptable. I guess it didn’t matter, but maybe try to end on a positive play.
the offense had the ball for 40 MINUTES and Fields threw for 169 yards. that’s ass bruh. every time he’s in a situation where he has to throw, he’s terrible. what else can you expect when our QB is an RB?

He should never have been in that position, the defense should never have given up that many points. That said, has Fields ever had a game winning drive? Has he ever “won” the game?

Against a top 3 run defense Getsy calls run plays 46 times and passes only 23. Probably should have been the other way around or closer to 50/50.
