If you still have optimism for this team and franchise, I want some of what you’re having. This is rock bottom for the Pistons organization. No other way to spin it.

Have there been worse Pistons teams? Absolutely. But what makes this rock bottom is that we build this roster for years–and it’s clear we’re worse than when we started. We waste years of our fandom with the idea that there’s hope on the other side. We sit there through every loss, but still have faith in our franchise to turn it around “after a couple more draft picks” or “when they finally develop”.

But we’re on the other side now, and there’s no pot of gold.

Bogey, Monte and Duren coming back aren’t going to turn this ship around. We are the worst team in the NBA and it’s not even close. The talent sucks. The coaching sucks. This team just fucking sucks.

Every Troy stan, open your eyes. You worship a man who has made us worse.
