Historically, Gen.G is the only team other than T1 to have more than 1 World title to their name (2).

Hence T1 and GEN.G are the most successful teams in World’s history.

Other than Faker, there’s only 5 players with more than 1 World Title to their name. That is Bengi (3), Beryl (2), Duke (2), Bang (2), Wolf (2). They are all Koreans

    I am Korean and always will be a hardcore LCK fan. But I’m just not a fan of region baiting.

    For me LCK and LPL will both be the most competitive regions. Every year it’s not strange for any LPL seed to beat any LCK seed and vice versa; the rosters are all that damn talented. But these takes about being a better region backed by national pride always leave me with a bad taste in my mouth.

    Last year LCK was undefeated vs LPL but I was just as terrified knowing LPL could win it all next year because they are that good. This year LPL dominated with 3/4 in semis but ask any LPL fan and they knew they couldn’t let their guards down. Listen to any LCK and LPL native analysts and they are always respectful and humble of the opponents; I was especially impressed when I listen to translations of LPL casters covering Faker and his legacy. No need to be like Dom and shit on regions because your ego gets hurt.

    If you’re a fan of any other sport you know you savor the wins when you get them and accept defeat graciously. The reality is this sport is so much better with international competition, so fellow LCK fans just take this dub without being a dick

    While I love this bm between LPL and LCK, the problem is that a) in recent times LPL and LCK are equal; b) on average average LPL team is stronger than average LCK team and LPL to LCK head-to-head score is in Chinese favor, even with T1 in solo doing its best to fix it.
