Such a good outlook. Glad Darko is running the ship. Funny that last year Scottie was playing a different role game to game. Terrible for early development.

Here’s an idea…instead of using him like a Swiss army knife every night to patch up the faulty roster, build out a proper roster AROUND Scottie Barnes and then encourage him to be the primary scorer so that he can fully develop in that area and become the #1 option that this team hasn’t had since Kawhi left

Or just continue to slow his development by having him be “Mr. Everything” so that the Raps can be a .500 team in 2023 and get knocked out of the play in again lol that works too…

Darko said here they don’t know what those 3 things are yet. Maybe they want him to be a PG. Maybe a PF/Small ball center. Maybe he’s developed as a perimeter player, maybe a high post distributor, maybe a post player.

It’s tough to build around a player when you don’t know what that player will be yet.

Basically Barnes right now is a jack of all trades but they want him to master one or two things REALLY REALLY well. Can he do it? Yes, but we need a better blue print and that is what they appear to be working on.
