I know everyone memes about it a lot here but they had promised a long time ago that we would get updates every 2 weeks and 2 new heroes a year and many other things but slowly all these things have been forgotten or not even implemented in the first place, and patches have gotten less and less frequent and the game just feels like it has less effort put into it. I know they changed their Stances on this stuff, but it kinda always feels like it ends that way. Promises of future consistent content/updates which just leads to being a disappointment. This International prize pool was a serious let down.

Is this a sign that they’re shifting their workload onto something else? Are they actively trying to kill Dota off to make us move onto a new game they have planned? Is Dota not making enough money for Valve anymore? Or is this genuinely their real effort being put into the game right now?
