As a bedrock player, we don’t actually have to know any of the recipes but I know 99% of them anyway. I usually think that barrels use sticks instead of slabs for some reason.
I usually forget which which recipe is for fences and which one is for gates.
I use the book when I’m making a lot of something, for example when I make a lot of sticks for my fletcher
Manualy cuz I play on 1.7.10 before the knowledge book existed
i used the book for shortcuts
it depends if im playing with a controller its simply faster to use the book but on pc i use the crafting grid for older recipes because the new ones are chinese to mexdd
i’d say i know 90% of the crafting recipes by heart but i usually use the book because it’s pretty damn convenient
I use the book since it lets you shift click to auto craft the maximum possible items. So it’s much faster than manual crafting.
Started without the book but is it goddamnn nice I just use it whenever gold block? Yeah ill do it especially when I need said gold for the trim of my nether base equivalent
I find it quicker to search for the item than to click the items into the crafting grid. I even came in way back in Beta 1.2, looooooong before the recipe book was a thing, I just transitioned to using it religiously at some point and never switched back.
Gotten to the point where I get annoyed at the Vault Hunters UI because JEI replaces the recipe book lmao
I use the recipe book to look up recipes, what I need and where they go, then I make it myself about 30 mins later when I remember I haven’t made it
I’ll use it if I want a very specific amount of an item that I can craft more than I need of - otherwise I’ll do it manually
I use it for convenience normally, other times when I don’t remember how it was done.
But yes it was a really useful update
I know most recipes but I still use the book for convenience
Look at recipes for newer stuff in the book, then craft manually because I’m an MC boomer like that.
i use knowledge book im forgetful
