I like to automate EVERYTHING. Whatever I can find that is automatable and is interesting/useful to automate, I want to make a farm for it. That gives a rather large amount of things to do.

Make a Multi-Item Sorter. I recommend the Moony MIS V5. It works at almost hopper speed, is 2-wide tileable, and is not all that hard to put together compared to other multi item sorters. You’ll have to come up with a bunch of categories, but it’s easy to add more items to the filters on the fly so it’s pretty flexible. I think I covered most categories I wanted with 50 or so slices. A large machine, but you can find ways to hide it.

Now why would anyone want to limit themselves like that? Baffling that anyone would think it’s a good idea to only use spawners. Spawners are so freakin’ slow, they’re only really useful early game. Plus you have to be right next to them for them to work, they can’t passively run in the background while you work, have to be right there. Also, gunpowder? Unless you also want to make a raid farm, you gotta have a farm that produces creepers if you want gunpowder.

Outer Wilds’ water planet, Giants Deep is pretty great in my opinion. Don’t want to say why because it’s best to experience it yourself.

I find it quicker to search for the item than to click the items into the crafting grid. I even came in way back in Beta 1.2, looooooong before the recipe book was a thing, I just transitioned to using it religiously at some point and never switched back.

Gotten to the point where I get annoyed at the Vault Hunters UI because JEI replaces the recipe book lmao
