I hope he walked straight out of the locker room tonight without saying a word.

I mean yes and no. Sometimes being a leader is also holding people accountable.

Patrick is a class act, doing something like this is not in his DNA. I will say that he more than likely is telling himself that his wideouts need to do a better job.

I mean, he did throw a very bad pick. Kelce fumbled in the red zone. The drops suck but we also shot ourself with two turnovers

Ultimately flaming your teammates in front of the public/press doesn’t help anyone.

If the player cares, they are already beating themselves up over it and flaming them publicly will only undermine trust.

If a player doesn’t care, and doesn’t take responsibility, flaming them publicly will likley cause them to lash out and create locker room drama.

Fundamentally, I just don’t think some of these players have the inherit talent to get better (MVS). And someone like Kelce who had a few mistakes and overall having a down season, probably a case of age becoming a factor… or just having to battle through injuries.

It’s the coaching and management that he should be mad at. They’re the ones fielding those receivers.

The OLine Committee Podcast is great! You should check it out.

Earlier this year they were talking about what happens in front of the press vs what happens in the locker room and meeting rooms. They were saying that if someone screws up and costs the game and the QB gets asked about it, the players on the team are expecting him to not call them out publicly. Once he’s not in front of the podium, they fully expect him to call out the players in the meeting room. But they said if he does it from the podium, he’s lost the team.

Patrick growing up with a professional athlete for a dad likely knows this.

The fact he cries on every play for a flag is pretty annoying. Man even got a flag on a play and still wanted another.

Also, Mahomes missed Watson for an easy touchdown last night. He can’t really go around lighting up receivers.

People still haven’t realized Mahomes isn’t just “physical talent”.

I would’ve thrown them through the damn bus at this point and maybe Veach too.
