    Rookie > Showmaker > Scout > Xiaohu > Chovy > Crown > DoinB > Pawn > Knight > Zeka > Caps > Dade > Perkz > Bjerg > Jensen > the rest

If chovy wins worlds he is above showmaker, maybe rookie.

Gonna do things a bit differently and consider the caliber of games won

    1. Faker. Is Faker

    2. Showmaker - 5 World final games won, 2 MSI final games won. 1 World Title. Never missed worlds and put up a damn good fight against GenG in 22. Recently lost to KT to crash out before top 8 of worlds. Absolutely smoked all of LCK in 2020 and 2021.

    3. Pawn. 3 Worlds final games won, 3 MSI final games won. Bowed out of pro because of injuries. Beat Faker at MSI

    4. Rookie - 3 World final games won, 2 MSI Semi final games won. Monster mid laner who probably lacked the team around him to succeed. Could well be higher if he had teams that didn’t collapse (V5, KT).

    5. Xiaohu - 9 MSI Final games won, 3 world semi final games won.

    6. Crown - 5 World final games won, no MSI participation. Anyone who calls Crown a fraud is only self reporting. Pushed Faker to his limits in 2016 before winning the brain check vs Faker in 2017. It doesn’t matter that Faker might have had the better hands, do your order of operations, the brain comes first then the hands. Can’t fault him for Faker not having the brains back in 2017.

    7. One time world champs (Scout >= DoinB > Zeka) Scout has always been a fantastic mid laner. Above DoinB because he had success back in 2017 and has been competitive for the last 3 years. DoinB was unfortunately on the trainwreck of 2021 FPX and is the only confirmed non virgin, Zeka at the bottom but give the guy some time to grow, it’s only been 1 year since he won it all and he was on a HLE team with a rookie jungler and had to play against Canyon, Deft and Showmaker.

    8. ^

    9. ^

    10. Knight. MSI Title + 2 LPL Titles

    11. Yagao. Has been competitive with Knight since 2020. A little bit worse this year but didn’t have the benefit of having Ruler on his team.

    12. Caps. Best western pro by a solid amount.

    13. Chovy. Doesn’t matter if he’s a choker, LCK Titles mean more than no titles.

    14. Perkz. Probably carried on this list by being adc so feel free to lower him if need be.

    15. Jensen.

    16. Bjergsen nice titles but at least Jensen tries to win internationally.

A little bit harder to rank the older players. Could likely insert XPeke and Alex Ich in the region of one time world champs and Froggen around Perkz.

Maybe it’s because I only followed super closely starting in Season 9 (though I watched a good portion of Season 8 too), but why is Rookie constantly ranked so highly? I’m not sure what I’m missing, but other than the Worlds win with IG, I haven’t seen him much at MSI / Worlds at all in recent years.

He was a god in Season 8 for sure and was still great in Season 9, but IG did lose to NA in MSI and lost to FPX at worlds. Since then, I don’t think I’ve seen much of him.

    What am I missing?

I’m genuinely asking btw. Don’t mean to imply he’s less than his reputation. I just don’t know what I’m missing.
