Comparison of the previous season and the current one so far, so people can calm down a bit. Losses and victories come and go.

57 - 23 Record for 2022/23 season and how Celtics fared month by month:

Month Record Win % Lost to:
October 4-2 66.7% Bulls 102 - 120 Cavaliers 123 - 132 OT
November 14-2 87.5% Cavaliers 113 - 114 OT Bulls 107 - 121
December 8 - 6 57.1% Heat 116 - 120 OT Warriors 107 - 123 Clippers 93 - 113 Magic 109 - 117 Magic 92 - 95 Pacers 112 - 117
2022 TOTAL 26 - 10 72.22% -–

11 - 3 Record. How we are doing so far in the 2023/24 season:

Month Record Win % Lost to:
October 3 - 0 100%
November 8 - 3 72.73% Timberwolves 109 - 114 OT 76sers 103 - 106 Hornets 118 - 121OT
2023 TOTAL 11 - 3 78.57% -–

We have 4 games to go in November:

Bucks

Magic

Hawks

Bulls

And another 12 games in December.

To beat the previous year’s record we have to go at least 11 - 5 to score a total of 73.33% or 22 - 8, to end the year.

Games in December are against:

76sers

Cavaliers

Cavaliers

Magic B2B

Magic

Warriors

Kings B2B

Clippers

Lakers

Pistons

Raptors B2B

Spurs

You can make a forecast for which 5 games would be the ones where we will eat the loss, in order to beat the record of 2022 by a minimum.

From my perspective, we can beat them all, but let`s be real - so I say we could bow to the Bucks tonight (if we do the same as in the last 3 games + Bucks are on a hot streak), one of the Cavaliers` games, the first Magic game back-to-back, Kings on the back-to-back, Raptors back-to-back.

So guys chill, last year we lost 10 Games by New Year’s, this year we could potentially be on a better run.

FUN FACT: We have lost 3 games by a total margin of -11 points versus last year’s first 3 losses by -28 in total.

Important to note a section of December’s schedule is not yet created because of the in-season tournament results. So there’s like 4-5 more games in there.

I will be more optimistic and say that we are going on a streak tonight until Cavaliers games, we’ll drop one to Cavaliers and drop the Magic back to back. Then we’ll drop two more in the West coast. if those two losses will be against Warriors and Lakers then this sub will be shitting on the team until a new streak. I think we will be improving the overall record a little, just enough for the first seed. The test will be coming after that about how we close the series in the playoffs. I am not counting out Denver or any other team from the West that will beat them if we reach the finals, so it will be important not to drag any other series. If the team walks into playoffs with right habits and feels dominant (that wasn’t the case last year) I will take any loss and any record before that actually. Right now, there is room for criticism but also much more room for development then last year. We are not winning games just by historical shooting based on drive and kicks or hockey passes, there is more variant to our game already.
