I think the defensive need is really starting to show. During the regular season we can definitely just rely on the offense since there’s generally less effort defensivly in the reg season. But when it comes playoff time I think the lack of defense is gonna kill the team.

Not expecting a finals appearance this year or anything, but we are really going to need to prioritize defense/2 way players going forward; the offense is sexy but we need some defensivly stability.

These repetitive posts for the most part are absolutely correct.

    However, we know this already.

The FO and a very solid GM knows this already.

The future HOF head coach who coaches this team and has a championship ring and should have at least 1 more (he was fucked over after being a big part of building that 2004 Detroit Pistons championship team and turning them around, he won NBA Coach of the Year and then they fired him in the off-season after a Finals appearance for a more veteran and legendary coach in Larry Brown, I understand why, but my point is Carlisle has been great since the beginning) and will go down as a top 5-7 greatest head coach in NBA history…

… and again, he knows this already.

So you don’t think our future HOF Coach and KP have a well-mapped out 2-4 year plan on how to win a championship… again? By the way, both Finals appearances (one won, one lost) that Rick orchestrated were a 4th ranked and a 7th ranked defensive teams in the league. AKA the man knows how you get to a finals and knows you need a top 10 defense.

Rome wasn’t built in a day.
