What stat line would we need to see to that would both not full the Green truthers or the “trade this bum” crowd?
Seeing the last 24/48 hours in-between the games are wild around here and noting seems more divisive than Green. Any good game and this sub is flooded with "I told you he’s Booker, league fucked". And a bad game we get "Trade him now, he’s Dion Waiters".
I think a 18 point game 6/14 from the field, 2/6 from 3, 4/6 from the line, and obviously we win.
Nothing too bad, but not really good either, both sides are unhappy and the sub is drama free until Friday.
Idec what numbers he puts up, as long as it looks like he’s starting to contribute and fit into the system. He could put up like 10 points but as long as he doesn’t look lost, I’ll be happy.
He doesn’t even have to even be efficient, he can have an off night but as long as they’re good looks and he isn’t chucking. I’d say he’s going in the right direction
The problem is that people will always find a way to hate.
He could literally have a 16 pt, 2 rebound, 4 assist game on 6/9 fg, 1/3 3 pt, 3/3 ft 1 stl, 1 block and 0 turnovers and people will bash him because he isn’t scoring 25 ppg on elite efficiency.
Also people don’t actually watch the games, they generally just rush to the box score and if its not filled to the brim they call someone trash until their favorite ESPN analyst tells them who is good and who isn’t.
You underestimate people haha
People will find something in any game.
Those numbers are bad. Just more volume scoring on middling efficiency
The game to game reactions are 😵💫. Not even coaching evaluated their players so often.
Who cares man. Let’s assess him after the season
Even if he drops 100 on 35/50 20/30 from 3 15/15 FTs we trade him
Thing is, even if he has a big game, he needs to be more consistent. He could go for 40 tonight and I wouldn’t really care all that much
Now, if he can string together 5 or so consecutive efficient nights, then that will interest me
I only want to see two things from Jalen, wise shot selection and not losing position on defense,
Then later we can add, hustle, intangibles, more responsibility, etc.
Don’t try to be a hero young fella, you are skilled but trying to run to the hill so fast that you rolling down quickly. I know you can get up fast but making the same mistakes over and over again is not the way. By reducing the mistakes one by one you will start to fall less and less in time.
Then the top view… I’m sure worth it…
