Everybody talks about Becky because of the history between the two but with her job in Las Vegas with the Aces and probably a good salary for her I don’t see her coming back to San Antonio in 2/3 years. Will Hardy is now with the Jazz. And I don’t know the new coaching staff well to know if they can be some candidates.

They probably move Brett Brown head coach for like 1 or 2 years before searching at college level i think

I think Mitch Johnson has next. I see some mentions for Bret Brown, but he’s like 62. I think they’d be smart to get someone younger in the coaching position for the long term and keep Brett and possibly add Budenholzer to the coaching staff. Getting someone younger to bridge the gap and keep the corporate knowledge there is very important. If they don’t have a plan to make it happen, there’s lots of teams that are very interested in adding his services. I see these last seasons with Pop as essentially training wheels for not just the players, but the younger coaching staff as well

If you can’t bring back Becky Mitch with Brett Brown or maybe Budenholzer as his assistant may be the best option. I think Will Hardy was the number 1 choice if it wasn’t Becky.

They may be also look at the college level but don’t know who they can bring who can be a good option for the Spurs

Who knows. Depends how long Pop stays. If Manu gets a job on the bench and is any good, and Pop stays for a few years, I think it’s Manu.

Avery Johnson. He’s always done pretty good but I got downvoted for saying this before.

Steve Kerr is the pipe dream

Pop’s retirement should coincide with Curry’s
