All in all though over the course of this 4 game stretch they needed to split and so far they are 2-1 and the worse they can do is split. So thats something positive
- That was a schedule loss
- The injury issue suck but the Heat weren’t close to full strength either
- The effort tonight was fucking bad — from starter to bench the entire team was just flat and bad.
- The Cavs lost every single quarter — never showed up to the fight.
- Garland/Allen were terrible
- 19 turnovers is just atrocious
This doesn’t change my opinion of us. Kinda figured it was gonna happen given the circumstances. Hopefully this does silence the “Mitchell isn’t needed” thing cause that was getting annoying. Move on and use these rest days wisely
Oh. Well.
death by 54 year old Kyle Lowry
We need Mitchell to balance out the team rump sizes. Lowry is donk city and without a guy like Mitchell, he’s going gyat on our whole town.
Blown the fuck out but they beat the current champs and another tough team with another tough team back to back. Didn’t expect a win
Im fine with the loss. Back to backs are extremely tough. But i think the lack of effort is really concerning, they seemed to be not in the game mentally from the jump. This team needs heart and its games like this that hurt to watch.
Cpj is a great addition to the team he needs converted. Emoni bates needs to stop chucking shots and show more effort in these games if he ever wants to get a fair look this season. I think emoni knows he will be in the g league for the most part and that might be the reason why. Issiah is better then jones and does more for the cavs riding the bench then jones. It was a mistake to trade for him and not open a two way spot by converting issiah, i feel like issiah doesnt benefit anymore from the g league
- Schedule loss for sure
- Lowry wanted revenge on cavs for always eliminating him in the playoffs
- 3 games on 4 days against top teams (beat philly and denver)
- Players were tired, heat had fresh legs (you could see the cavs we not trying on defense at all)
- Ugly loss, but the heat didn’t miss
Overall, it’s a pretty good stretch now. Get rested, and become healthy
I’m thankful for going 4-1 in our last 5 games, including wins at Philadelphia and Denver. We were due for a stinker, and this was it. Happy Thanksgiving Cavs Nation, I love yas!
You guys sure love excuses. There is no excuses for lack of effort and no heart… i dont care about the loss
DOOOOOOOOO-
My only real criticism is I hope Levert takes some time to reflect on this one and compare it to the games earlier this season. He was boneheaded in this one and he was so much better starting out. Otherwise you’re always gonna lose to a team that shoots 58% from 3 on a back to back night after overtime. Always.
Throw this one in the dumpster and move on (although our bigs need to be better vs. Haywood Highsmith and Thomas Bryant, let’s be real).
We’ve had one of the toughest schedules to start the season, with some really good wins recently. Cavs will be alright, I just hope we don’t trade Mitchell.
