I just wanted to speak some thoughts on this game. Basically, we sucked for 3 whole quarters and only lost by 3. Damian lillard had only gotten one foul shot in the first 3 quarters. Giannis choked probably 10 points worth of wide open layups and that last attempted dunk by Dame would’ve brought the lead down the stretch even tighter. Basically, I’m not going to worry about it. If we can come within this close playing 3 shitty quarters, we can definitely win if we play even half decent in ANY of those quarters. Never thought I’d see the day I feel this comfortable playing in clutch time as long as Giannis was our first option considering how limited his scoring options are, but I do not regret the Dame trade and if there’s one thing I’ve learned this year it’s that I FULLY 100% trust him in clutch time because he is him.

    Trying to pull morale victories out of this for a championship team is not it. The issue is it’s been 15 games and literally every problem that was there in game 1 has persisted. Giannis has not changed the way he plays whatsoever, griffin is still running dame out there with Beasley and sometimes even cameron Payne just begging to get scored on, etc…

    “only lost by 3”, yeah but that last second heave was just garbage time 3. Come on lol, lets not act like that was a moral victory.

    Plenty of positives but the main one being clawing back from down 20+ at one point. Lots to improve upon and I am confident the team will keep getting better. Looking forward to the rematch in Milwaukee

    AG telling Giannis off after he genuinely fucked up and didn’t want to admit to it was good to see. Giannis is THE guy, but having someone to level him is very important when he gets tunnel vision. Giannis however was defensively vital same as Brook, those lineups without either of those two were getting cooked. It wasn’t the worst outcome tonight and I’m genuinely optimistic about future matchups if we can adjust accordingly.
