Team A: 377 total yards on offense and 17 first downs and 27 minutes TOP

Team B: over 450 total yards on offense and 24 first downs and 32 minutes TOP

Which DC should get fired?

The problem was the three fumbles by Goff, one for a TD. That cascaded with the Lions having to gamble and going for it on 4th down and not converting.

The defense needs to get better. But they did enough today for the team to win. But you can’t fumble the ball 3 times (again one for a TD) and expect to win.

Only one of the fumbles actually cost us anything - the first one that was returned for a TD where players thought it was an incomplete pass.

The second fumble resulted in Green Bay turning it over on downs; the Lions basically lost 9 yards of field possession as a result.

The third fumble was on a blown up 4th down play; it wouldn’t have mattered if the ball had been fumbled or not.

That first fumble was bad, but it wasn’t what ended up deciding the game. Rather it was the failed fake punt, other failures to convert on 4th down, and just a poor performance from the offense today, especially the offensive line’s pass protection.
