It boils down to this, and I don’t understand why no one understands:
Our offense is good enough and proven enough to do well 75% of the time. On the 25% of the time it doesn’t, the defense never does its job to help even the whole team out. Talk about the offense never helping the D.
They continue to fail. In most, if not all, our wins, the offense either had to go up two scores or score every drive to match. Maybe in the Seattle game at the end with Analzone’s sack and in last week’s Bears game getting that last drive 3 and out stop then the Hutch safety. Every other point we played mid to bad offenses.
The only time our D does good is when a skill player finally shows up. It’s nothing AG is doing that’s making our defense thrive. Our skill players make him look way better than he is.
I’m still not at full fire AG mode, but these things are clear, and he needs to figure something out.
Defense is basically relying on the offense. The defense is never the reason we get momentum, it’s never the reason we win, it’s never a bright spot in a bad game.
We lost that game in the first quarter. Back to back scoring drives where the defense didn’t make a single stop for a loss ir even zero yards. Then three fumbles on QB1… I could go on… the whole team last that game. Then again it wouldn’t be thanksgiving without my Lions on TV and let’s be honest, a loss. We haven’t won a today game since what 2015 maybe? Hopefully they figure out their recent issues before next week and get back on track to do something in the playoffs! Go Lions!

this meme implies AG has had one bad game. but he hasn’t. he’s been bad basically all year and bailed out by the other team beating themselves or the offense (being chirped at in this meme) out gunning. good teams have good coordinators and AG doesn’t meet this criteria. move on from him now before he gets absolutely exposed in the playoffs and costs us our best year anyone of us can remember.
Last season the Lions had the worst defense in the league. Season before that they had the 29th worst defense. But don’t change the defensive coordinator!!!
BJs worst game by a mile. DCs worst game. As for Glenn, this is maybe tied for 5th worst. That’s the difference. He does this all the time. If you don’t see that, I guess you are just really dumb.

you think this game was worse for BJ then the ravens? i know the ravens were playing outstanding in general, but BJ couldn’t get a damn thing going that day. seemed like he was trying to do too much because of the success from prior weeks

Everyone wants to blame literally anyone other than Ben Johnson. As if Ben ain’t allowed a bad game or two. He is! This is a good team. We are allowed bad games in either side of the ball.

I agree completely. People are so angry at glenn over the last 2 games and we have 8 fucking turnovers. I am counting the fake punt as a turnover.
