Hardcore series. There’s been a huge hardcore trend since about 2020 and I just don’t get it. These people are using about 50 totems per episode so the whole hardcore aspect of the series is irrelevant.
Not to mention every single hardcore content creator makes the exact same content. Same fast pace cuts, same sound effects, same random awkward silence when something strange happens, even the same ideas. One person makes a zoo with every mob so over the next few months, every other hardcore YouTuber makes the same thing.
So yeah the trend is dumb. Hardcore is irrelevant when you have unlimited totems therefor unlimited life’s. And it’s all the exact same content yet it’s a big craze because a bunch of you get players think hardcore is extremely impressive and they like the fast cut videos.

I think it’s the constant overdoing of each other. Over the top vids. Give me a good series, SMP, or hardcore series, a 1 block series. The huge outrageous challenges are good every now and then.
I agree with your thing. But to comment a different one, crappy tutorial makers piss me off. The absolute king of tutorials is IanxOfour. He explains EVERYTHING in detail, he’s amazing. If he has a tutorial for a farm you need, you absolutely need to do his.

recently I realized that most modern, snaller minecraft youtubers make videos in the exact same way and that has annoyed me. Like, written like a narrative, video essay or mrbeast video

Where they make a farm and the thumbnail is just a double chest of items and a giant recreation of a block or mob
The annoying one is where this guy just states random stuff and screams in the mic, it’s just plane annoying.
Videos stuffed with ear wrenching sound effects and forced “quirky” moments. I love sandiction’s builds, but he’s one of the worst offenders.
