This sub is so thirsty to blame everything on Glenn. Yes, the defense came out soft and got beat up by the Packers early. But they tightened up after that and consistently gave the offense a chance to get back in it. Instead, the protection, run game, and offensive playcalling got outmatched by Joe fucking Barry.

Right? Cherry picking here is insane. GB was up by two scores, so they took it a bit slower in the second half. Doesn’t mean AG made some genius adjustment to slow the packers down. I’m not one to blame it on AG either, but giving up 22 points against a team with 17 players on the injury list and who ranked dead last in first quarter points scored? He’s definitely not not a factor in the loss.
Ok ya they played better later in. They were getting smoked early in Love at one point was 12/13 for 2 tds!! The problem is when is the defense gonna straight up go win a game for us. Where are the browns/Steelers defensive struggles that we lean on our d, that chargers game was horrible. Seattle all the time. Ravens game! We can’t depend on our defense any time. The offense is eventually gonna suck it did today. But the d always sucks!

I would blame the outcome on, in order of importance:
-The Packers getting one of their TDs on some total bullshit.
-Goff being pressured most of the game. He mostly kept his cool, but was exposed as a pathetically bad scrambler.
-Coaches getting a little too silly with the 4th down shit.
-The defense failed to pressure Love at all, there were some bonehead missed tackle type things that I’d thought were mostly cleaned up this year and there seemed to be some scheme issues.
The Packers scored when they needed to at will. Did the o-line play like garbage? Yes. Did Goff have a bad game? Yup. Do I trust the defense to cover anyone if the QB has more than 2 seconds to find a receiver? Nope. We made Jordan Love look like the next great packers QB today. This is a team loss, a lot of it is on coaching as well, but the defense has looked like trash more often than not. It’s not working and nothing seemingly is being done to try to fix it.
Ben Johnson’s been struggling a few weeks now. Raiders we failed in the red zone non stop. Chicago we had the turnovers and miscues like we saw yesterday.
He needs to stop getting cute and we just have to execute better
Our defense has been bad for 3 straight years, our offense has been bad for the past two games. We got lucky with drops but you can’t win playoff games relying on receivers making mistakes. Not excusing how bad the offense has been for the past 2 games (minus the last two minutes of the bears game) but that side of the ball has been elite especially at home.
Giving up 20 in 10 minutes is definitely on Glenn.
