Other than Mercy, Hanzo, because he has no counters.

I would bet Mercy is probably the top one trick character. Shes a great intro hero for people who haven’t played first person shooters before who isn’t aim intensive.

It allows people to participate and feel helpful even if they cant aim.

I think it’s soldier because soldier mains are so boring they only main him

If someone auto-locks any of the following characters, I’ve pretty much determined that they won’t be switching the entire game:

Tank: D.Va, Doom, Hog, Ball

DPS: Ashe, Cass, Genji, Hanzo, Widow

Support: Ana, Lucio, Mercy, Moira, Zen (there is a chance Mercy will swap to Moira, though)

Used to play a lot of Ball in OW1. Miss the hamsterooni guy

Just commenting on what ive seen, mainly mercy which i disagree with tbh, just because there are so many mercy players who arent one tricks. Also 76, i dont see soilder that often and its almost never a one trick, but then im console so pc might be a different experience

Mercy. No contenst, the amount of Mercy players I’ve seen with 500+ hours on her and like… 5 on their next most played hero is just astounding.

Easy hero to get value with if you’re not good at the game i guess, just pocket the best player on the team.
