Rebounds are crucial for winning titles and I can’t imagine us going all the way if our point guard has the highest rebound average on the team, let alone not have a single player who averages double digit rebounds.

Lively is that guy, 7.6 REB so far his rookie season. Sometime over the next 2 seasons his average will be 10+.

the reason why Luka averages double digit rebounds is because that is how the offense is designed. It is to push the pace faster, since it is quicker to have your point guard grab the rebound and immediately dribble down the court than to have your center get the rebound and hand it off to the point guard.

Stfu, Luka is an amazing rebounder.

It is a very underrated and under appreciated skill.

Is something wrong with you? I never said that Luka is a bad rebounder. It is how the game is designed in this current era of basketball. You may be lacking reading comprehension, but what I’m saying is true for a lot of guards and is why guards rebounding stats have increased across the board. Even someone like James Harden rebounding stats increased around 2018 compared to his first few years in Houston because this leads to a more efficient offense. Maybe take Luka’s nuts out of your mouth and understand what I am saying.
