He’s not the same QB in games 1 thru 6 compared to 7 to 11. Any idea what’s going on?

    He needs protection and a pocket to pass from for a few seconds. Seems like a simple fix. Instead of spending a zillion dollars on an unknown potential QB superstar, get the O-line in shape and let Goff be that high level performer we know he can be.

    Play calling. As clever as Ben Johnson is with the gadget plays and so forth, he should have been anticipating more blitz packages because teams have figured out how to stop our offense by doing so. I expect that when we play New Orleans, they will have quick hits and draw plays designed to capitalize on overzealous blitzing defensive lines. The reason Goff had so few interceptions at the end of last year is because he knows when to throw it out of bounds instead of risking a bad throw. He hasn’t changed in that regard.

    When you’re getting pressured on 50% of your dropbacks you have no chance. Statistically speaking that’s almost insurmountable. The worst o-lines average high 30s to mid 40s in terms of percentage
