Defense is a huge issue but the turnovers is causing the most pain, as they have seriously ramped up after Goffs streak ended.

Want to know why the abysmal Steelers offense still has a 6-4 record? Their differential is +11(#1)… Tied for 3rd most takeaways and tied for 1st fewest in turnovers.

Teams like the Pats, Cardinals, Panthers, Giants and Packers do a better job of protecting the ball than us which is crazy.

Takeaways? We don’t get many (bottom 7) our line doesn’t pressure enough to cause poor throws. Our defensive scheme allows too many easy passes in the middle. We should however be getting more fumbles as we are some of the best at getting tackles for loss on RBs…

Hope this changes

Even if they don’t generate any turnovers, what if we, hear me out now, didn’t turn the ball over too?

It’s an issue for both sides. Right now they’ve been turning it over too much

And it’s not being balanced out by turnovers from the defense

Obviously both sides of it are issues but the real catalyst for our turnaround last year was that we started generating more takeaways on D and that was largely caused by pressure on the QB. we’ve had bursts of pressure/sacks this year but haven’t had any kind of consistency. People are containing hutch and that’d really all we have
