The last 5 games the Lions have played bad football. If we play this way in the playoffs we will be blown out.
The last 2 games, we were at home playing bad football teams. We made them look like Superbowl contenders with MVP candidate QB’s. Don’t get started about the offense… The only person who had a worse day than Goff was Ben Johnson, wtf was that play calling…
The actual play on the field is getting worse at a time when we need it to be getting better.
It’s ok to say these things… This isn’t SOL mentality it’s being honest about the product in the field.
I’m a big Dan Campbell fan, I love where this team is going, but we should expect more than what we are getting from this team.
It’s not all on the defense. It’s not all on the offense. But it is on everyone to fix things because it isn’t just one thing.
Is the defense not playing well? Sure. It’s had some pretty bad games, but the defense isn’t being helped by a suddenly mistake prone offense that keeps turning the ball over. And it isn’t just one guy; it’s fumbles, it’s INTs, protection has broken down a bit, some bad red zone playcalling (notably in the raiders game).
Things do need to improve. And that’s ok.
