Feels like the answer is never someone who already has one so it’s between guys like Tatum/Luka/Embiid/Booker/SGA

Out of that group I’d probably go with Tatum because of how stacked the Celtics are overall and how many near misses they’ve had(could also see Embiid but I don’t think anyone truly sees the Sixers roster as championship caliber or actually expects them to win this year)

I say Boomer. Been to the finals before. Regarded as a great player but not quite all time great. This could be his year to prove it

Giannis/Dame, Harden, Embiid, and Jokic (Mike Malone) in that order.

The pressure on Embiid to reach a conference finals is greater than winning a ring

Uhm…Honestly, there is so much parity, uncertainty, and newly formed rosters that no one is really under that much pressure.

Giannis, Jokic, Bron, Curry, Durant, and Kawhi got theirs…

Luka and SGA ain’t ready yet.

Embiid and the 6ers have exceeded expectations with no Harden…

Mm…Tatum seems like the best choice, as the Celtics have been a fringe contender ever since Tatum got there. But he’s so young that he has a big window.

I think Kawhi looks like he really failed in LA though.

Why does SGA have any pressure to win a ring this year? Thats out of left field.

Literally no one, not a single soul, is putting pressure on SGA to win a ring this season

Unless you joined a team 73 win team. I’d say KD needed that ring more than half the list. For me it’s Luka/KD/Embid

I think the pressure is on Boston.

Having lost Harden, the Sixers kind of have an excuse.

But Boston has brought in the Unicorn and Jrue… got the best starting five in the league.

They need to step up to that next level and take it all home.

Luka? He’s going to have Kyrie to blame for any shortcomings.

Booker? KD is going to be taking the lead, so if they fail, it will go on KD.

Shai doesn’t have any real playoff experience with this roster.

So I see Tatum as the guy with the most pressure.

Celtics or the Suns. Nobody even had Dallas making the Playoffs to start the season so we have zero pressure. Luka is playing with house money.

Dame. He’s massively aging hes had zero personal success post first round in his career he’s on that mammoth contract and gets to play with Gianni’s now. Dark horse of weird level of pressure but really no pressure is Steph. This is likely it for his title shots because the warriors are cooked already and hell never ask for a trade. If this was any other elite superstar he would be #1 on the list of next star to ask out

Lillard, with all the stuff in the off season, if they fall short he will be a laughing stock
