Did any other Jets fan feel a part of soul die before halftime yesterday? I just need to know I’m not alone. I almost shed tears afterward….this season is so incomprehensibly bad I actually feel like it might be scripted…I’ve officially lost my mind as a Jets fan. Or maybe I lost it when I decided to watch this franchise…I’m so sad

    Nah. I laughed hysterically.

That was one of the Jetsiest Jets things that could happen.

Defense is doing all they can to keep the team afloat and the offense allows a TD

Yeah I feel that way too. I’ve never felt so hopeless. It’s like they can’t do anything right no matter what, and the sickness permeates so thoroughly throughout the organization that I don’t see a way they’re fixing this anytime soon.

They won’t fix it by next year that’s for sure

I’m surprised that anyone that watched this season thought the jets had a chance to win yesterday. Investing into this team is hazardous to your health… don’t be delusional.

When you decide to be a Jets fan….it’s not a logical decision. We do not think logically as Jets fan. We enjoy the pain and disappointment. It’s and illness

99 was worse. That team was LOADED. This one was flawed off the jump with that o-line.

'09-'10 were kinda fluky. We knew Jones and Tomlinson were near their sell-by dates. Beyond them and the line, the team wasn’t great. Hardly heart-breaking.

This ranks third most disappointing. First was '99, 2nd when Pennington’s shoulder turned to linguini.

This year sucks because the data says that as I was constantly disparaging O’Brien, he very well may be the best QB I get to see play in a Jets uniform for any sustained length of time at average to above play.

Nope. I had no reaction, because I smartly decided not to watch.

I watched nearly every snap for 30 years, but have only gotten fooled by this team a handful of times since the final year of Bowles’ regime.

My Sundays are, by and large, much better now.

You’re a smart individual. I’m taking you’re advice because this is not worth my time or anyone else’s time anymore

There seems to come a point in every Jets game, and in every Jets season where you just know it’s over, the team has collapsed and is not going to turn it around.

That’s the when I peace out.

Once in a long while I miss a comeback, but it’s rare.

I’m not a Jets fan but, yeah it was a sickening feeling. Made even worse because it looked like Boyle wanted nothing to do with being out there. He seriously looked like he was clock watching going, “wtf why is this taking so long”. Zach at least wanted to be there

For this season, my soul died weeks ago. Certainly after the SD game but really on opening night.

I hate it because they’ve been scheduled five primetime games, and you’d think preseason like this team is going to be good and people wana watch them. It hasn’t been like that at all, and the only time I can watch them is on prime time.

I usually keep my composure, especially in front of my 2 year old. But I almost smashed his learning farm, then went upstairs and sat in silence for 5 minutes.

At the end of the day it’s just sports; it’s not that serious. If you are so impacted by a game, it may be best to turn it off and find another hobby.

I’m typically upset for a couple of hours after a bad game but by the time I get into bed on game day, I no longer care or think about until the cycle repeats the next game.

I’m a Miami Heat fan and they’ve gotten a helluva lot closer to winning the whole thing and end up losing than the Jets could ever dream - and even then I’m good by the next morning.

The pick 6 on the Hail Mary did me in. That was the straw that broke the camels back for me. At this point, if you continue to watch this team for the rest of the season you are a legitimate masochist.
