Starting a weight loss journey and found a fun way to incorporate the game tomorrow into my weekly workout. It will start immediately after the game tomorrow and I will need to complete the goals before the game next week.

1 point scored by Steelers = 1 mile I need to run

1 yard gained by Steelers = 1 pushup/situp

Steelers average 16.6 points/game and 280 yards/game, which honestly isn’t too bad for a whole week of working out, but will push me to stay consistent and give me a goal to work towards.

Downside is if Steelers drop 50 points and 500 yards of offense on the Bengals tomorrow I may not survive to do this again next week…but I’m willing to sacrifice myself for the good of the group.

Here. We. Go.

Add in some offsetters on the VERY, EXTREMELY MINIMAL chance that the offense 3-and-outs all game. Like punting stats or something.

I might steal this, but have it different based on my strengths

    1 point= .5 miles to walk/run

1 yard gained= 2 push-ups + 1 sit-up (if we greatly improve our running game, I will have jelly arms for the next two months)

Every foul= 10 minutes on my balance board (so much harder than it sounds, bc I do it on one leg)

Just to check, you’ve run before, right? If not, going 16.6 miles in your first week might be too much. Not trying to discourage you; just speaking from personal experience with trying to get into jogging.

Appreciate the concern, I’m athletic, but very lazy. Ran a lot when I played basketball in College.

Also, this isn’t about being conservative, I’m putting my body on the line in hopes the Steelers Offense kills me (with success, not despair)!

I fully support this. Post a week later update too so we can keep you accountable and follow along.

And may God have mercy on your soul when we have a 50 point lead and 500 yards at halftime.

    I’m on a similar plan!

1 point scored by the Steelers = 1 beer I need to drink 1 yard gained by the Steelers = 1 Dorito I need to eat

Bonus: 1 sack by the Steelers = 1 shot of whiskey

    Here we go!!!
