I love the guys we have on the team, but can we slow down the recruiting of “stars” and put more resources into our linemen?

I see him trying to help, but it’s him doing so when it’s not needed, he needs to release for the pass when the play is designed for him

In the last 7 years our draft has consisted of 53 picks. 6 of those have been OL and 3 have been in the top 3 rounds (2 3rds + 1 1st).

    The OL Picked:

    • 2017: N/A
    • 2018: Chuks (#92)
    • 2019: N/A
    • 2020: Dotson (#135)
    • 2021: Kendrick Green (#87), Dan Moore (#128)
    • 2022: N/A
    • 2023: BJones (#14), Spencer Anderson (#251)

Whilst this looks like a good investment. I’m not sure a 3rd on an O lineman cuts it.

I think with the exception of Jones, we have invested very little in the O line.

My take is to continuing to build the O-line before drafting a new QB in the 1st. To set up either Kenny or the next QB for success. Maybe draft a QB in the middle rounds based on how Kenny performs from now to the end of the season.
