We’re all aware the tank role feels a bit wonky lately, but I’ve recently picked up Signa consistently and I really feel like his kit is one of the most balanced and team supportive one in the game. A shield, ability to eat damage and many ults and a good CC ability, both of which increase survivability and the ability to deal out consistent damage to take space. Yet he’s not OP…get caught out of position and you can easily get melted.

Of all the tanks, he’s the one that I feel like I’m doing the most to help my team with. I find the single tank experience to be much more enjoyable when I play Sigma.

This is just my experience and opinion of him, I’d love to hear what others think?

    I like Sigma a lot. I agree with you OP.

    I will add that an aggressive Orisa or Ram can take out Sigma. But he’s a tough tank to take down if you balance the use of his shield and absorb ability.

    Sigma and Ramattra should be the baseline for how all tanks are designed in the future. The other tanks need some balance tbh to fix their issues

      Tbf Winston is also very close to being in a good spot imo, the alt fire feels a little too underpowered but even with that I regularly perform super well on him so

    Same, he really feels like THE frontline, until I get tilted when my team can’t pressure while I absorb all the damage. Then I go Junker and run around :)

    He’s balanced in 5v5 because he’s more punishable and counterable without the second Tank bail him out.

    Sigma is in a great spot indeed. Every tank needs to be adjusted to how sig is doing.

      But not all Tanks are like Sigma who can shield + poke enemies at the same time, having an incredibly fat projectile that stuns through matrix & deflect, having a personal matrix that ‘heals’ him through damage absorbed.

    Tanks are so bad in general that the most balanced character in the role is being considered too strong by a lot of players
