I can’t be the only one who thinks that
They have been terrible. Something tells me they can turn things around, but that probably means more 3 game losing streaks instead of 10.
You’re as good as your record is. Every team deals with injuries, unfavorable scheduling and mediocre officiating.
Bojan and Morris don’t raise the floor immensely. Missing Duren and then him playing while still not 100% has been their biggest hit. Everything else is just a lack of growth up and down the roster and Weaver refusing to build a real team.
If Weaver is fired this summer, he would have spent four years in Detroit not trying to put a winning team on the floor once. That’s a sad ass legacy and will probably prohibit him from getting that position ever again.
any team is better than this record
Bojan is by far our best player, and he hasn’t played a single minute yet. We’re on pace to win 10 games. We’re really bad, but not 2012 Bobcats bad.
Everyone who’s played roulette knows that if you just play black every time, even though you have a 48% chance of winning every spin, occasionally red will hit 12+ times in a row. It’s rare but if you run the sim enough times, it happens.
I’m not saying we should have won 48% of our games, but I do think we’re on a bit of anomalous streak and it won’t last. We don’t have a sub 10% chance to win every night. The games have been relatively close. We’ll be replacing poor to average players with good to great players.
Weaver will go get Pat Williams his next reclamation project and all will be fixed
I wish Bojan would get his ass on the court so we know how to answer this question
