Fine. I genuinely don’t give a shit anymore.
Fine. I genuinely don’t give a shit anymore.
Over half way to the legendary 28 loss streak set by Philly.
If I was a Wizards fan, I’d still be upset with my franchise. At least the Hornets have a new owner, so they can have some hope currently.
Cade looks checked out. He makes lazy passes and just looks slower and less engaged than in his rookie system.
The whole “he is him” rhetoric after the first three games of the season has long passed and many now believe he’s probably a number 2 or 3 on a team trying to win meaningful games in the post season.
Weaver’s unwavering dedication to not admitting Killian is a bust and moving on should get its own 20 for 20.
If we can lose to the Wizards, we can lose to anyone.
They’re playing for the Maine Redclaws.
Uhhhhh….yeah…hmm…uhhh, fuck you guys, I’m going back to OKC to be Presti’s secretary.
Sincerely, Troy “Mushmouth” Weaver
We can do something. Stop watching. Stop attending. Stop buying their cheap ass China made merch.
Your wallet has a louder voice than any Reddit post or tweet.
Troy’s biggest blunder besides tying up first round picks was his immense passiveness in free agency.
His lack of decisiveness to get guys who are capable players is showing now.
Most of these guys are too early in their career to pull the plug on. Specifically Cade, Ivey, Duren and Thompson. And those are also your best assets if you wanted to make a significant trade.
Franchise losing streak was only the beginning!
Some of those guys weren’t part of the rebuild, such as Kennard. Grant was a bet that paid off, but I think he was intended to be a stopgap that was never appropriately back filled.
I don’t know what pathway is the best course out of this mess. I don’t believe Weaver will blow up his own roster. That would be an admission of personal failure and that’s almost never seen in the NBA by a GM. They build the roster and either fly with its success or go down with the ship.
Hope it’s a cordial separation and their kids receive the support they need.
Otherwise, none of our business.
Since at least 2009. Arguably 2008.
And they have some guys who can actually shoot and create offense. Cole Anthony would be Detroit’s best scorer.
If his comps are guys who have never won a title, and in George and Young’s case, very unlikely to ever, that’s a shitty lot to be grouped with.
Booker had it hard, similar to Cade early on with some truly abhorrent Suns teams.
He can always retire and give Johnny Kane the reigns. His final decade plus with the team has been a lot of sugar coating.
That’s not an apples to apples comparison.
