I really don’t like how I’m watching ppl call for Diontae’s head out of straight up anger ust bc we are upset with him. On the non touchdown play he literally caught it and had 3 steps and then the defender knocked it out. It should’ve been a touchdown and even if they didn’t call it as such it’s still not a drop. It was good play by the defender. On the fumble he didn’t know the ball was actually live and there were several players just standing still (he still needs to play through the whistle ofc before anyone decides to bitch in my comments). On the play where kenny throws it outside to nobody it was a miscommunication and Kenny panicked a bit. Where diontae sat there was still an open window (I’m not sure if it was an option route or a curl/ slant and sit. So I won’t act like I know for sure). But we really have to chill out on the overreacting and the unnecessary witch hunts. We are all guilty of it as steeler fans (me included) but we gotta chill.

I was on the radio and was overreacting hearing that DJ dropped it. It’s not really an overreaction though. He is lucky we came away with a win.

Last week he was a part of the problem with Kenny. DJ has ROUTINELY dropped passes on 3rd and 4th downs going all the way back to Ben, Juju was a more solid option on 3rd than DJ no matter how much Ben praises DJ.

DJ has routinely ran backwards and lost this offense key yards.

DJ hangs his QB out to dry and throws temper tantrums on the field.

DJ is not worth his contract.

All these things are true and until DJ proves that he is elite on the field no one is overreacting

The play is just a bad sign and it seems like all our talented WRs eventually have issues. But him not even trying to make a play on that fumble is crazy

It seemed to me it was one play…early on in the game. He was trying to make somebody miss and didn’t.

The rest of the game, he did his job.

It’s because he calls himself a leader to the fans, media and I’d assume his teammates but then does things like not put in effort, pout, or throw his hands up when he doesn’t get a target.

Him not moving for the loose ball on the fumble just brings all that front and center because it was a huge play. Tbh I lost a lot of respect for that play whether people think the play should’ve happened or not. Doesn’t mean we need to get rid of him but if i was HC (im not) he would’ve been sat. Someone who calls themselves a leader or anyone who is on a team doesn’t give up like that because they don’t get their TD. It’s a selfish thing to do and puts you before the team. For all we know if he was engaged in the play he could’ve fallen on the ball but he wasn’t. He let his team down big time in that moment.

I like DJ as a player and I believe the offense is better with him in it but he has his flaws. Being a selfish player doesn’t go far with the Steelers fans. Nobody is bigger than the franchise and the way he acts sometimes makes people think he thinks he is.

lol - its not overreacting - he consistently sucks each week and is easily replaceable - brings more drama than hea worth - scrub.
