Are there any times you feel a game had a time it went too far and really should have been censored?

When it comes to games going to far, I think that games like Mortal Kombat could tone down the violence. I don’t hate violence or anything and I don’t support video game censorship, but when devs suffer PTSD during production like in MK11, it’s probably a bit too much.

Heres a hot take: The designs for some of the girl designs in Blazblue specifically.

I only say this because characters like Makoto and Izanami get better costumes besides the default ones that they show in game. On top of that, I think its flat out bad character design if the character is just showing boob or butt for NO other reason than fanservice. Characters should wear outfits that reflect THEIR PERSONALITY. Izanami wearing basically nothing directly clashes with the “unholy entity that can destroy humanity” angle as its also telling you “oh look. Upskirt shot~. Get a boner”

And if you think im just whining cause I hate sexy characters; no absolutely not. Characters like Shermie in KOF or even Nine from Blazblue make it work MUCH better because those outfits reflect their personality. Hell, Senran Kagura is a game completely built on fanservice, but I think it has much better character design cause most characters have outfits that reflect their personality. It just looks way better and you get a better idea of who they are, and they know Showing skin doesnt automatically equal sexier.

Really shouldnt be surprised the comments are filled with people who just hear “Censorship” and believe its always bad with no justification. Im not saying Censorship cant be done in terrible ways, Playstation censoring anime games on its platform so much can be a huge issue, but at the same time, there are times when it just makes the product better and less harmful.
