Better defense, cooler scheme.

I had a pretty sizable amount of faith coming into the season. At this point, I would be happy with garbage time stats from him and Watson for my best ball teams but I guess that’s too much to ask.

For Jordan love to look like a guy who’s been in the league for 3 years now sitting and studying behind a HOFer, not the exact same guy he was in college.

I don’t think people expect multiple games with 0 point in the 1st half and Love accuracy beyond 10 yards is a serious issue after sitting behind Rodgers for 3 years and having Clements as his qb coach since last season

My expectations were pretty much this. The team would be exposed as frauds and the fans who yelled “MY QB1” from the mountaintops would vanish.

I had us a 6 win team, but showing growth and “gelling” more as the season went on, with Love showing the ability to become our next 6+ year QB (Think Dak like, not Rodgers like).

I was a MLF backer, and truly thought Rodgers was hindering the playcalling style that Matt could mold Love within.

I didn’t anticipate the depth of how inept the coaching was. I really thought MLF was a much better coach and motivator than he is.

I was ok with the losing. Expected it. But this? This isn’t building towards anything.

This is the collapse of a franchise overnight from a competitive standpoint. This team literally does nothing well, and does it less well by the week.

I mean I think we had three camps in this sub Reddit.

We have the Love Lovers, who thought Rodgers was holding back LaFleur’s scheme and we would somehow be better this year than we were last year, with a HoF QB. We are still paying that guy 40m in cap this year.

We also have some Rodgers loyalists who predicted we’d burn to the ground when he left. Swore up and down Jordan Love is and will never be the guy. I think they mostly predicted a 0-6 win season.

Finally we have fans of the Packers. I think we all predicted an inconsistent, up and down, season for evaluation. I was ready for 4 to 7 wins season, but thinking that may now even of been slightly optimistic. I was at least hopeful the young roster would get better through the year. This has felt awkward as we seemed to start hot and then have been digressing.

We can’t forget what we are still paying #12 and #69 a lot of money to contribute nothing to this offense right now.
